WHO WE ARE
At Calvary Worship Center, we are a vibrant and diverse community of believers who are united by our faith in Jesus Christ and our commitment to living out His teachings in our daily lives. We believe that the church is not just a building; it's a family of believers who support and encourage one another on our spiritual journeys.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is simple yet profound: to love God, love people, and make disciples. We strive to create an environment where individuals can encounter the transforming love of Jesus, grow in their relationship with Him, and share His love with others.
OUR BELIEFS
4. Worship: Worship is at the heart of our community. We gather regularly to praise and worship God through music, prayer, and the study of His Word.
5. Community: We value authentic relationships and strive to create a welcoming and loving community where everyone is accepted and loved.
6. The Holy Spirit: We believe in the ongoing, sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life and minister super-naturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4, is poured out on believers that they might have God’s power to be His witnesses.
1. The Trinity: We believe in one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2. The Bible: We view the Bible as the inspired and authoritative Word of God, providing guidance and direction for our lives.
3. Salvation: We teach that salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by our own works. We believe in the victorious, redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy – sin, lies, sickness, and torment.
